Welcome:
I have worked as a freelance writer and magazine for more than a decade. I have been a public school teacher, a graduate student and adjunct at Texas A&M University at Texarkana, and I worked as the co-director of TAMU-Texarkana’s Writing Center. As a doctoral student at Texas Woman’s University, I learned academic research and writing and what it meant to become a true scholar.
In August, I began teaching at Colorado State University-Pueblo as the university's Director of Writing and Assistant Professor of English. I love the area, am continually impressed by the people, and now, I am looking forward to a busy fall semster in beautiful Colorado!
